Looks great!
I like your fuel tank storage a lot better then my original plan
I've only done the SOA and park brake on mine (two weeks ago)
does your tent open towards the back or side?

Thanks Bruce, I ordered a couple sets.

BTW, you wouldn't happen to know if blitz cans and NATO cans are roughly the same dimensions?? I need to find myself 1/2 dozen NATO cans and ditch these leak blitz cans but I want to make the holders first...

I dunno if they are the same. There is one here with a big opening and a squarish bottom. It that a blitz can? If so the dimensions are not the same. Nato cans are $5 each in Calgary. Last time I checked they still had too many palletfulls to count.

Yup, that's a blitz can. Can you shoot me the contact info on where to get those NATO cans. I have a friend in Calgary this weekend that could pick them up.

Cheers

weekend's over, let's see some pics!

Report...

The trailer actually handles high speed gravel better in the new config. I thought it would be bouncier but it was the opposite. On the trail, in tight trees I can now catch the trailer tire if the truck skims by at full lock. About 2-3" of the tire will hit the tree. That caused us problems a couple of times in the tightest stuff but we were able to wiggle past by laying a log beside the tree to skid the trailer tire over. We did some pretty good off camber stuff and the trailer stayed upright so I don't think I upset the COG too much. All in all I'm quite happy with the setup. I need to add a seperate cooler for cans (they beat up the food a lot) and a couple of struts to help lift the lid.

Lowenbrau asked me to post some pictures of his trailer and penthouse suite from last weekend's wheeling adventures...
