I've been replacing hoses and compiled a hose reference for myself that may be of help to others. I got much of the information from other posts.
If you find an error please notify me so I can correct the list. Rear heater hoses aren't complete yet.
1996 LX450 Hoses

99556-30100 X3 100mm section of 16mm (.640”) hose that you cut down to 50mm for the PHH. The same part number is used in three other locations. The two parallel hoses at the back of the valve cover and the front heater inlet.

12261-66021 (12261) Hose ventilation (PVC hose)

12262-66021(12262) Hose ventilation #2 (PS valve cover)

87245-60340(87246B) HOSE, HEATER WATER, OUTLET B (PS s shaped Hose to the heater pipe to tee back at the firewall)

16264-66021(16264) HOSE, WATER BY-PASS, NO.2 (connects between hard line front of engine to front side of throttle body)

16261-66040 (16261G) HOSE, WATER BY-PASS, NO.1 (connects on the back side of the throttle body)

16267-66020 (16267) HOSE, WATER BY-PASS, NO.3 (from radiator to next to distributor)

16573-66010 (16573B) HOSE, RADIATOR, NO.3 (PS lower hose)

16571-66030 (16571C) HOSE, RADIATOR, NO.1 (DS hose)

16572-66021 (16572D) HOSE, RADIATOR, NO.2 (PS upper hose)

99555-10200 (16278D) HOSE, WATER BY-PASS, (connects to the end of the hard line running across the front of the engine and back side of water pump, cut to length)

87245-60480 (87245B) HOSE, HEATER WATER, INLET B
(DSHOSE to VALVE ASSY, HEATER WATER)

87245-60350 (87246A) HOSE, HEATER WATER, OUTLET A (with rear heater) Short hose from tee to the firewall

87245-60310 (87246A) HOSE, HEATER WATER, OUTLET A (without rear heater) Substitutes for 87245-60340 (87246B) HOSE, HEATER WATER, OUTLET B (PS Hose to the heater pipe back at the firewall)

87208-60350 (87208C) PIPE SUB-ASSY, HEATER WATER, C (rubber hose next to firewall not available separately from hard pipe, use 1/2” ID Gates 28460 Eng Coolant, Cut To Fit)

Cruiser Dan told me the 1/2 in. hose only comes with the assembly so I used Gates 1/2 in. 90 deg. hose 28460 and cut it to fit as shown below.

I've been replacing mine with all Gates preferably the Green Stripe for Antifreeze lines.
Just make sure you specify Antifreeze or oil line, as it matters.
The Gates ones are slightly thinner when I compared them, or maybe the Toyota ones swell after 20 yrs.

The 3 Lg Anti Freeze ones can be had for cheap on Rock.

The Gates Non-Cogged Belts are great too, I think price is comparable to dealer. They may last better then OEM (Newer technology)

AC Belt - Gates Part Number 9360 $9.44
Drive Belt - Gates Part Number 7447M (2 Pack) $22.79

Specs:
High Capacity V-Belt (Standard); 15/32"

XL® V-Belts are replacement belts for the most demanding engine drives. Due to thermal forces, this variable notched belt tightens on the drive as it gets hot. This results in improved belt performance by reducing tension decay and noise.

  • Fiber-loaded rubber stock puts more flexibility along the length of the belt, yet gives the belt greater lateral stability in the pulley.
  • Thermally active tensile cords for maintenance-free performance when properly installed and tensioned.
  • Form ground to ensure precise top width and sidewall dimensional control for proper fit in pulley as well as a smoother, quieter running belt.
  • Meets or exceeds SAE J636c specifications.

This post will be very useful to me thanks! All the constant torque clamps where did you get them and $?

Did you use those clamps every where? Pcv etc?

@Hornd. Good information. I used Gates green stripe kit for straight hoses next to heater valve and silicone PHH kit from http://www.phhkit.com/

@NCFJ54. I only used breeze constant torque clamps for the water lines, and reused the OEM spring clamp for the DS hose to the heater valve where the hose attaches to the short hard line down next to the firewall because of space. The small water hose bypass lines, vapor, and gas lines I reused the OEM spring clamps.

The Beeze clamps I ordered from amazon due to convenience of prime free and fast shipping. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009SD08MU?tag=ihco-20 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009SD02VM?tag=ihco-20 Since amazon prices vary minute to minute, I use Amazon price tracker, Amazon price history charts, price watches, and price drop alerts. if I have time to wait, in order to catch amazon at the best price.

Drive Belt - Gates Part Number 7447M (2 Pack) $22.79

I tried the 7447M just before Christmas and it was too tight (granted we were installing it in an unheated garage in Wisconsin in December). Looked it up on the Advance/Carquest site and it called for a Dayco 15450. Showed up at the local Carquest and they hand me a Gates 7448 belt with a Dayco 15450 sticker on it. I'm like WTF, so we check the interchange guide on Gates' website and it actually should have crossed over to a 7450. But since the 7447M was just a hair too small I went ahead with the 7448 and it fit fine. (Note: 7447M is a smooth/non-toothed/non-cogged belt while the 7448 is cogged/toothed.)

Why am I posting this today you ask? Because I just popped the hood to trace down a power steering fluid leak and noticed my freshly-installed belts are already cracked. My guess is they sat too close to the window in a parts store for a decade and were dry-rotted before I ever installed them. I'm going to try and get my money back but it's doubtful considering I bought them from a Carquest in Wisconsin and my local (VA) Carquest store just closed as a result of the Advance buy-out. Any suggestions on what brand/part # I should buy this time around? Has anyone actually installed the Gates 7447M belt with success?

I have the Gates7447M on and have run them several 1000 miles with no issue.
Did you try removing the Idler Pulley to get them on?
Did you compare the the belt you removed?
Order of assembly might matter here. I put on belts then put on Idler Pulley. It's one bolt
I'm unsure the Price of OEM, but they are good too.
Many have had issues with Cogged Belts and noise, so I avoided from the start.

The belt I removed was a 7448, which was the other reason why I went with the 7448 rather than the 7450. That's interesting about the cogged belts causing noise, my engine is noisy so I think I'll take a stab at the 7447M again. I can't remember if I tried removing the idler pulley but if you got it to work I'm sure that's the trick.

Follow up... When I bought the 7447M at O'Reilly's in Wisconsin there were two belts in the pack, which was good because it cost like $39. But when I just went to pick up the 7447M at my local O'Reilly's here in VA there was only one belt in the packaging. Anybody know whether it should be one or two? O'Reilly's website shows a picture of two belts so you'd think it was two to a package.

Got the answer. I had the O'Reilly's guy reorder 7447M and when I picked it up this morning there were two belts in the sleeve instead of one. So word to the wise, make sure there are two belts in the sleeve before you pay.

20 is close. I honestly think using constant torque clamps on everything is an unnecessary waste. I recall constant torque clamps first coming to conversation on mud to accommodate using silicon hose with its tendency to seep under certain temperature changes. I do think it's a good practice to use the lined breeze clamps which are much less expensive but a step up from the standard hose clamp.
