My daughter is now learning how to drive, we took the BJ42 up Dumount and she loved the trail driving... She was hugging my side of the trail lots, tried to teach her to look further ahead..:popcorn:

Awesome! Low speed trail driving is a great way to start learning.

I can't wait to teach my kids to drive. I got a while to wait though, because mine are only 1 and 5 haha.
 
you should add a note for young toshi's benefit, that you always travel heavily armed...:lol:



I was going to teach my nephew to drive on my cruiser...maybe I should've...dang punk couldn't drive a stick up a horses ass, AND he wrapped my sister's car around a telephone pole a while back...:rolleyes:
 
The first time I drove (pedals and all) was my old man's 73FJ40. Still have fond memories. Bits of the old 73 are still driving around in Trogdor, wherever that rig is nowadays.
 
She is hooked, already made sure I was booked up for two trail rides this weekend, maybe arrowsmith, maybe Duncan..

First thing was locking the hubs, second was showing her how to shift into low range... She did comment on the slopin the steering, I told her its 30 years old and a little worn..just like her old dad.

I have 33 km2s sitting at Cedar tire, gonna get them mounted before the weekend.:beer:

OME lift comes in next week..

Tcase needs a rebuild, rear output is a bit sloppy..
 
Sounds like a fun ride, anyone else up for the drive let us know...

Short notice and long weekend I suspect few would be in..

Bumper's done!!!!!!! Are we going anywhere Sunday or Monday? I've got a full tank, new tires, and my ass is now covered! Good to go.
 
Got up to Poomount a couple times with Kate and her friend, we went all out and pulled the top, what fun...
