Hi all, I live in KY and just purchased my first land Cruiser a few days ago. I've had numerous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen 4runners in the past but never a Land Cruiser. I saw this 1994 Land Cruiser pop up on craigslist and went the same day to check it out. The seller was a very nice lady who had daily driven the truck for the past 5 years, and had kept up with maintenance very well. She was only asking $2000 for it, which I thought was low so it must have had some issues, I deal with craigslist quite a bit so I'm use to everything being in worse condition than what the seller says. I arrived at her house to find that this truck was extremely clean for having 240k miles; new cooper discovery tires, heat and AC work, all the windows and even the sunroof still works. I took it for a test drive and to my amazement it was near perfect, no odd noises, the steering tracked straight, brakes are a little tired but that's it. There is no body or frame rust anywhere, the only cosmetic issues are a dented rear bumper corner, broken tail light (Fixed now with Anzo LEDs), and a missing drivers side front bumper corner (if anyone has a lead on front and rear replacement bumper covers please PM me). We ended up settling on a price of $1600, which I am very happy with. I purchased this just to be a back up winter vehicle and a dog hauler (I have 2 Great Danes). I've already repaired the tail lights and will be replacing the bumpers soon, my plan is to also get some new wheels and 33s. I look forward to learning from you all, now on to some pictures.

Congrats on your new Cruiser.......let the games begin!

$1600 seems like a pretty good deal to me for that cruiser. You could part it out and make your money back.

You know, I thought about repairing the minor issues and flipping it as that is what I do most of the time. However, after I drove it I really enjoy it so I'm planning on keeping it a while now.

Looks like a nice score, congratulations and welcome to the madness! Whatever it takes to keep the pups happy.........

BTW, it looks like your battery fell out ;)

Well I had the FJ up for sale but I decided to keep it. I have been driving it a lot recently and I just enjoy it too much to get rid of it. I have decided to build it into a overlander/camping vehicle, nothing too major as I am only going on local trips for now.

Today my snorkel came in so I got that installed, also on the way are some trail gear tube bumpers, Spartan rear locker, loads of LED lighting, and mounts for the roof rack I am going to build.

Stay tuned!

Trail gear front bumper installed! I think it looks great. My Spartan locker came in today so hopefully getting it installed next week.

I also received my Smittybilt gutter mounts for the custom roof rack I'm building, can't wait to get started on it.

Very.... Very nice score on this 80! Talking the poor ole lady down to $1600, you should be ashamed of yourself! Lol, just kidding! She's probably happy it went to a good home. Congrats again though.... it looks very nice!

Truck looks great sounds like a smoking good deal. Back sliding windows are made for big dogs to hang Theyr heads out of. My Shep considers it her dog house on wheels

Started the roof rack today. You can see it's a very simple design, just 1/4in 1 by 1 box tube welded to 1/4in plates that are then bolted to the Smittybilt gutter mounts. I still have some work left to do on it tonight but here are some pictures of what I have so far.

Looks Great! Where in KY are you located? I'm in Cincinnati, but went to School in Georgetown. I've also got friends and family in Lewis County, and my buddy has places to wheel out there
