I was thinking that the Forest Fest crew may have modified the entrance in order to get all of those rigs through in a timely manner. I'm guessing gatekeeper is in post #14 (bottom 2 pics) I don't know if thay had been filled in as this was my first experience there. At that location we had to wait for a Jeep club to go through. It was funny to hear over and over again "that's a Lexus?" LOL! And yes, My appreciation for this vehicle grows with every trip, especially after descending and ascending the waterfall at Dishpan Springs. I have seen videos of the waterfall on youtube before but actually being there it looks much worse.
I am looking forward to returning :bounce:, but need to add a little protection hear and there. I drug across the rocks alot.
 
pictures never do it justice. completely different when you're there in person.
