Been working on the 55 a lot so decided to take a little ride around "my backyard". Tech part - I adjusted my rear brakes and needed to make a thorough test drive.
I live in Tehachapi Ca. It is in between the Mojave desert and the San Joaquin valley. It is between two very large air masses with pressure differentials and is almost always windy. If it isn't the worlds largest wind farm it is one of them.
The windmill pic is right at the edge of the Mojave dessert. Dropped off into the desert and cruised by the abandoned "Tropico Gold Mine" Brakes are still fine so so east deeper into the desert.
It is Memorial day so we thought we would stop by and say Hi but they really aren't too keen on unexpected guests at Edwards!!
Finally on the way back to Tehachapi stopped by to put the 40 through some hot laps. JK
Having lots of fun in my new backyard!!
