My 90 Runner

Just bought my runner today,
She's a 90 3.slow SR5.
Just replaced the head gaskets before winter (hadn't bought it yet), and put a new thermostat in.

Here's a couple of pics, they're not very good quality as it was in the shop, and I didn't have a lot of room to take the shots.

Will post more when I get it on the road.

I'm excited to fix up the cancer, and make her shine. I really love these trucks, I wanted a 22RE, but I'll take the three liter, I think I can make it work well, and am excited for the new ride.

Welcome to the dark side!!! Muhahahahaha!!!!!! Nice, my wife and I got rid of our 90 SR5 V6, and missed it so much we get her an 01 4Runner last fall. Can't beat them!

Nice find, looks like a pretty clean ride. What are your plans for it? Keep it mild or are you going to build it up?

I'm not sure what the plans are for this rig...
I'm thinking about keepin her pretty street savvy but not so much so that I can't hit a few trails here and there.

I want to add some auxiliary lighting, add a better stereo, and fix up the cancer... Want to get some new tires for her as well. One thing at a time.

Good luck with the cancer. There are so many of these 2nd generation Runners and pickups around here that suffer from it. Haven't seen anyone successfully tackle it yet, but then most Alaskans don't even bother to try.

some sheet metal, some bondo, some paint, and we're golden.
Yeah, I just want to drive it for now...
I'll definitely get to the cancer later.

It looks like i've got some rear end sag - guess I'll have to put some coil springs in soon...
