My 80 arrived today

Brent, don't know if the swing out will work on the old bumper. .. but i do know that they sell the piston assit retrofit kit for the older bumpers.. so its entirely possible. I doubt they'd go to all the work to re-tool the arms after the 80 has been out for so long. That being said I bet the new ones bolt right on.

We'll see if sales in AU responds to my query.

Today was productive. Went to DMV and got the plates, stopped by Toyota and picked up my OEM belts to fix the whine, took off the running boards and tow package, still need a bumper or do spare tire mod to gain more clearance in the butt. Also, fixed my shakey side mirror using the super bond putty technique.

The wing above the window? It comes standard on most cruisers and keeps road dust from building up on the rear window.

Well,
I'm back in an 80. I scored this one in FL. One owner, lockers, 128k. I have all the maintenance records too. The PO just had all the fluids changed and checked. I'm pretty pumped

I do need to change the valve cover gasket and change out some cracked vacuum hoses. Other than that its ready for mods.

Nice! Mine used to be that clean . . .
