My 79 40 Before and After

Just had my 40 painted, went with a color change but stayed with a Toyota color. Went from red to a color that was on the Tundra for a few years called Phantom Grey Pearl. Heres some pics.

That looks great I'm looking to paint my rig too. Did you rattle can paint it or did you have it custom done?

It looks pretty good close up to, they quoted me $550 but it went a little more because I had them do a few more things.

LOL, youre probably exactly right. Its like the old saying "you get what you pay for" but I just wasnt going to put any more into the tub that is on there when Im planning to go aqualu in a couple of years....hopefully.

Rezarf, thanks a bunch, I didnt have them do the dash and interior, I wish I could have afforded it. My plan was to leave the interior red because the tub is herculined black and I was hoping that what little bit of red was left would go with the darker gray but it doesnt so im going to paint the dash and everything that is left red black.
