Finally had the time to look at this again today. When I take the connector off of the light and test it I still get the result above.
I decided to try and use the light tester when the connector is actually on the back of the light. Finally got the result I was looking for and the connection labelled PASS is the one that comes on when the main beam is on. The only thing I can think of is that when I tested it off of the light I was touching a corroded or dirty part of the connector.
So the outcome is that you connect the yellow cable from the IPF loom to the Red & Green wire that is connected to the PASS connection on the connector that pushes onto the back of the headlight as per posts above and picture attached.
All connected and working like a charm
