The rear entertainment screens have always been an option. No different with the heritage edition. In fact it’s the only option.
I guarantee you. You can not get rear entertainment on Heritage.

I placed an order for a 2020 Heritage about a month ago...JUST before dealers entered their allocation preferences.

Today my dealer called and said my Heritage has been allocated! (August 1st allocation).

So I'm hoping to get the build sheet any day now. And I hope to be driving it by October 1 at the very latest!

Excited to join the club.

Congrats! Interesting you got one. There are only 12 allocated in the entire US as of 8/4/19. I don't doubt one is yours, as 4 are TN dealers oddly enough. I am in the Chicago region and we only got 6 for all 113 dealers. August allocation was strictly for Dealer Principles personally buying. Sept allocation will be opened up for sold-orders. You are a very luck man. Congrats again

That’s not true for the US spec’d 200s. Rear entertainment system was only recently an option (‘17 or ‘18 models, can’t remember which). I know at least up until the ‘16 they were on all US models. I think the only available option on my ‘16 was the remote start.

I’ve referring to the redesigned 200 series from 2016 to current. Yes in 2016 rear entertainment was an option. Btw remote start is a port installed item not factory oem. Lots of option if you add port installed items

There a small handful of accessories, yes. But remote start is not a port installed option (PIO) or a dealer installed option (DIO) as of 2018. It’s not available (except aftermarket) on US 200s.

Thank you Eric. It looks like I was extremely lucky. I don't know how I got my sold order allocated as this was definitely not a dealer principal order. I'm not going to complain!

Btw I was going to buy from you because you are highly regarded here. but my dealer in Tennessee assured me he could pull this off.

My build date is August 7th. Ship date August 23!

I'll post pics when she lands!

Rear seat entertainment was standard equipment until 2018MY in the U.S.. Remote start on the LC200 is about the dumbest interface of any feature I've ever seen on a vehicle.

And potentially a collectors item / rare model.

I had a 2010 FJ Trail Teams edition. That thing traded in 5 years later for what I paid for it new. Of course they stopped making those in US...

Btw. Is the Heritage Toyota's way of saying goodbye to the 5.7? Possible redesign? Or just good marketing?

I hope it will be a collectors item for you..... Perhaps the 200 guys will be different, but 22 years later and no one cares a bit about a "Collectors Edition" on the 80 platform. I love it though and glad to have one of the last batch of the 80's made.

Enjoy it!

Best regards,

John~

Congrats to OP! I wonder if the Toyota Land Cruiser heritage edition badge will be available to purchase? I love the look of that, but dont want to drill holes in my LC. Maybe it is the same as the original badge and they drill holes while it’s being put together?

You can buy that emblem. ~$30-$40.

This is my favorite, and in my opinion most iconic Land Cruiser emblem:

I do have a soft spot for the 80s all caps emblem.

Love the new headlamps as I will be thinking about getting that for mine. Honestly for me with a growing 2 year old and more kids down the road, the DVD has been handy. Although I dont understand for a 85k vehicle it comes with DVD instead of Blu-Ray and for 65k a platinum Sequoia has a blu-ray player (limited platinum highlander has blu-ray player as an option.) No retrofit mods too unfortunately (from what ive researched.)

Plus with our convoy style extended family vacations, the 3rd row seat has been used plenty of times.

That’s not a build sheet. That’s merely the dealer order information to TMC.

A factory build sheet looks like this and is put on the front radiator/grille support and is checked off by each station on the line (depending if it’s Yoshiwara and Tahara plant build).
