Looks good for me so far , I will be coming up 985.

OK Yeti. It looks like it may be just us, but I did invite a pal who I usually paddle with.

I'm leaning towards doing Sec 1. and stopping for lunch/fishing/letting the kids play. That 6 miles takes 2.5-3hrs paddling through, so with a lunch stop, It'll make for a good day.

Anyone else? :meh:

I have to work.... What time are we looking at getting done?

I need to show up around 5PM Saturday.

A lot of speculation here: If we get there at 9, I conservatively figure on launching at 10. 2.5 - 3 hours of paddling plus 1 hour or so for lunch, then shuttle back. I guess we'd be back at the outfitter by 3. That may cut it close. I know I need to be home by 5:00 because I get to accompany my wife to one of her friends' wedding shower :bang:.

As discussed off line, I no longer have a spare canoe, so you'll need to rent a Kayak. Sorry Man.

Think about it. Let me know.

may miss this one, darn CVs still need rebooting.

If I can get the boots on by the weekend, I'm in. I plan on doing the work myself.....god help me.

Things are not working for me on Sat , I am going to have to bail. The :princess: is not happy I have been pissing around with my bumper all week. :meh:

Alright. The trip looks like a bust.

It was worth a try.

....or river rock?

I would be down there right now if Steve kept RR open. He closed it back in January, they built a home on the land. Many of the trails still exist but not accessible.

I spent probably 20+ weekends out there. Great place and the best wheeling I have ever done in my truck.

FWIW, I ran section 1 Saturday. It was the best paddling trip I've ever had. Incredibly scenic. Plenty of class Is and a few Class IIs to add to the fun. Did some fishing. Did some swimming. Stopped for lunch. I ended up shuttling with a buddy - not bothering with the outfitter.
