What grease should I get for all the door latches, locks hinges, etc.? The FSM lists "MP grease" with no p/n.

Is this a moly, lithium or silicone-based grease?

Just fixing things here and there and figure I could grease up the door lock mechanism while I have the panel off, etc.

Yes. Multi-purpose is really generic.

Does Toyota sell a tube of their approved grease? P/N ?

Guess I could ask at the parts desk.

I use either a can of Valvoline synthetic with an acid brush, or spray-on white lithium grease if I can't reach the area with a brush.

As was posted, you've looking at non-critical areas.

Just be a bit careful to not slop regular MP grease on anything electrical. That's part of the basis for the power window switch recall on 7.M Toyota's just announced.

From Toyota:

"The driver’s side PWMS may experience a “notchy” or sticky feel during operation. If commercially available lubricants are applied to the switch in an attempt to address the “notchy” or sticky feel, melting of the switch assembly or smoke could occur and lead to a fire under some circumstances."
