Moving to Raton

We're in process of relocating to Raton NM. Needed more room and needed out of Colorado.

I have an '85 FJ60 with all the usual stuff bolted on to it. We're into back country trail riding but not the rock crawling stuff.

Anything interesting in the Raton area?

I have learned the locals pronounce it "sugar-eat" not "sugar-ite".

Sugarite canyon has Sugaraite reservoir that is inaccessible to swimmers due to it being the water source for the town below it. Just a FYI.
