Hello All,

I am currently in Texas, but moving to Denver in the next month or two possibly with my family. We plan on being in an apartment or rent house for a few months to get used to the area and make sure of where we want to buy a home before jumping into a mortgage. Denver seems to have a wide range of demographics and I have never stayed there before, just passed through on the way to a vacation spot or to a relative's house in Castle Rock. We live in a mid-sized town in Texas and we are ready for a change of weather and scenery.

We love the mountains but we have to live based out of Denver for my job.

Our priorities are as follows:

1. Safe neighborhoods and great schools -

2. Nice scenery - Somewhere green with some trees and a stream would be nice-My wife says she wants somewhere a little urban but it doesn't have to be downtown necessarily.

3. Rent in the $1200-$1800 a month range for a 3 or 4 bedroom Apartment or House with a Garage preferably

4. Nice local parks within walking distance would be great

HELP!!!

Thanks in advance

Welcome to Colorado!

We are your future neighbors to the south. The Colorado Land Cruisers are based in Colorado Springs. For the Denver TLCA chapter, you'll want to get in touch with Rising Sun. Here's their forum site: http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/forum2/index.php
