I think the actors are doing a great job but the story just blows compared to last year. The story is a mess but I'm sticking with it.
The writer has Jackson Pollocked the story line. Wasted talent and a wasted 8 hours...
It reminds me alot of the Leftovers. To many story lines without the payoff of Game of Thrones.

Ray Donavan its BAD ASS.

I'm gonna finish it, I'm committed to it now I guess. I agree the writer has F'd it up for sure. And I swear there are 3 or 4 one liners every week that make me laugh they are so bad. Last week Vince Vaughn said "It's like blue balls, but for the heart." So awful.

And The Leftovers...begged for it to get somewhere last year. Hopefully this season will make some progress.

Watched Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr in The Judge the other day. Gotta say, much better flic than I expected. I enjoy almost everything Duvall does tho

There's not crap on TV these days and just about every damn show is about Alaska, which is not a terrible thing but most suck.

Yukon River Run on Nat Geo looks promising.
I imagine it's Dan Hull approved for all the chainsaw and Stihl action.

(sorry it's not a movie but the movie selection is pretty lame these days)

I've got Ray Donovan and Season 3 of House of Cards in the wings.

TD is terrible. I'm lost. It's dumb.

I could not even get into a model/whorehouse scene.

You may be disappointed with 3rd season HoC. We've only got through the first couple episodes and it has jumped the shark. Not nearly as smart as the first (or 2nd) seasons. The suspension of disbelief you need is too much. I just finished Lilyhammer which was pretty entertaining, Lil Steven basically reprising his role on Sopranos. Orange is the New Black is pretty good if you're into that, only seen up to S2 so far. The UK version of Shameless is good for the first few seasons.

True Detective is bad. Its like a bad marriage in the fact that I am gonna see it thru because I am this far along and I am sticking with it for the kids.
