I see Mauka2Makai on that list also. He has a pretty sweet CE.

Taking Friday off also.
 
I was too late on the sign up.

I am taking the week off before that to drive up the coast and surf so was only 50/50 anyways about making this. Have fun!

Shoot, I knew there was some sort of conflict but I wasn't near my calendar when I signed up on EXPO. We'll see how it pans out.

The last time I was headed out to the Expo was October, 2009 and looking back with 20/20 vision, I had very mild heart attack sitting at a stop light in Laguna Niguel on my way out there after a round of golf. Warm day, but not hot. Had both windows down in the cruiser. Broke out in a heavy sweat and had some mild chest pressure (gee - two major signs of a heart attack!). Remember thinking "am I having a heart attack" and contemplating either driving two miles straight ahead to the hospital or taking a right and going home to rest. Dummy me, did the later. Had a 'little larger' one on Wednesday the following week and two stents in my heart that Friday! Wonder if I should even attempt another adventure to Expo!! :doh:

I think I speak for all of us here when I say we sure are glad to have you around - stents and all.

On a lighter note: It appears the excitement of the expo really gets you & your body just goes berserk! Perhaps some yoga or tai chi before entering the fair City of Pomona is in order for you (& maybe even the whole gang here).....!

LOL! Haven't ever beey to the Off Road Expo and was looking forward to going! Dave was fairly new into promoting Trasharoo and had a booth. Maybe it was the thought of seeing all the beautiful ladies that Roberto Miranda always posts up that got me too excited!!! :grinpimp:

With that same 20/20 hindsight, the stop light incident wasn't the first, but probably the 3rd 'warning shot accros the bow' so to speak.
 
Sounds like we have good representation from Mud going. I'm headed up Friday morning and will 'try' to get some space as far away from the noise of the main group as possible. Heard this one got a little wild last year. Desert Rendezvous was pretty mild or we were far enough away not to hear it all!
 
I will also be up there on Friday. I think "check in" is noon so I will probably roll in soon thereafter. If you can save some space that will be great!
 
We're still waiting for the October schedule to come out and if I get the days off requested we'll try to get there right around check in time.
