Anybody know if a motor out of an 87 4-runner will directly bolt up in a 91 pickup? My motor has lost compression in #2 cylinder and I found a 4-runner with a fresh motor. any help?

If you're just gonna swap the shortblock, shouldn't be a problem. If you try to swap all the wiring, I believe they changed the style of the connectors to a more weatherproof design.
Yup, wiring connectors will be the only difference, but it will bolt right in and you'll be fine as long as you swap all the efi stuff from the old motor to the new block/head.

Well, the plan was to take the whole complete running motor out of the 4-runner and drop it in the truck. But swaping the efi shouldn't be to bad.
