Man, that sucks, sorry to hear that, i know ya put a lot work into those!!!

Glad everyones ok!

Look at the bright side, now is a good time to saw off the rear of the mashed body and install a Jap spec rear section with ambulance doors! :D

those aren't dents....it's what we out West call "character marks" -- gives it a bit of personality IMHO ;)

BM thanks man, its cool tho. the 1/8inch plate wasnt dented at all and i dont even want to think what it would look like if i would not have welded them up. the first few dents always feel the worst...still better than flopping it.

actually it is...30 knot winds coming of the ocean at 46 deg. = Way to cold for me to work on it..I dint even wash the mud off that is caked on underneath it....Im thinking thrusday I'll do it.....?????

... but lockers are in the mail ...

You are gonna *love* them.

Field install notes for Aussie Lockers:

1) If you are *not* going to pull the carrier to install, tie a long piece of dental floss to the springs before trying to install. If the spring pops by accident there's a dental floss trail to find it. Remove floss with X-Acto knife after install.

2) Get a mic-guage.
Width to ratch has to be at lease 0.140.
Maximum should be 0.160.
0.165 possible but no recommended.
0.150 target.

My front is 0.154 and my rear is 0.156. This was how it came out without adjustment(replaceing shims) by a simple installing the Aussie Lockers.

Happy as a clam with mine,
Cahil

P.S. Wanna spool ? When you install ... insert a washer or two in the middle gap held in place by the pin(easier to understand in a visual). If you decrease your gap below 0.140 you will be spooling !

I like the lost... sticker. They shape some nice short boards. Get that 60 to the shaper for a little ding repair. A little foam and glass repair...hmmm....resin. nice.... ;)
