more 8274 help(just a quick 1)

anybody got a winch in bits and can tell me the diameter of the ball bearings from the brake assembly.
Mine are all gone and I dont want to wait a week when I can get them over the counter 2morro.

90% sure they are 3/8" - I can check when I get home tonight

thanks for that.Picked up some 2day and a new seal although getting it back together at the wkend has gone out the window I think I'll be wasting my time unless I replace the bush on that shaft as well and I dont think I can get my hands on a lathe and some stock now it's the wk end down here

Sorry - forgot to double check the ball size last night :whoops:. The wife went out with the girls straight from work so I had the kids - nuff said.

For me the bronze bushing was available locally in a 2" length but I just reused my old ones.

Thanks for all the help. Managed to get it mounted for a run out on sunday, wish I had a photo before I went through all the mud it was nice and shiny at 7am when my son helped me put the cable on.
