We've parked the Cruiser for now and Sean has parts on order. That's what happens when you have an old car at 345k, right?!

You might try adjusting the shift pressure cable. It's lower one on the throttle body that goes to the transmission. Tightening it will increase pressure and should reduce flaring.

He said he's looked at that, and it wasn't the problem. He's going to tinker with it this weekend
