Found a cheap 60 series ARB bumper. I’ve a got a 94 FZJ80 and would like to try and make the 60 series work. Does anyone have any experience with this? I’ve seen other threads but nothing in detail. Thanks in advance!

All depends on your goals. If you want cheap then modification of the 60 bumper to fit the 80 could easily double or triple that amount depending on the quality of fit and finish. Adding a winch will complicate things. If you're going to do it for grins and have the skills, tools and time then go for it.

I was more so curious if someone had done this already and how involved it was. From what I’ve seen the bottom bracket on the bumper is too short so all I’d have to do is cut out the bottom and it would fit. Just wanted to see what others had to say

Do you have a welder do you have any fabrication skills. What's the 80 series arb cost last i checked was like 1000 1200 bucks. I'd sell the 60 series arb for maybe a little profit and put that towards something that actually fits your 80

Not super worried with the appearance just the function. I honestly just posted this thread hoping somebody had done this and could give me an idea. Like I said it looks pretty straightforward. I probably will buy it. I got nothing but time.

Doesn't seem worth it for $400 in my opinion...
