A few guys have some things laying around the garage that they would like to instal on their FJ. I would like to organize a mod day. I know we have a few guys in the area that work off shore or go out of town a lot for work and would like to be there for a mod day (we can always do more than 1 ). We could throw some dates around and go with the majority.

I have space at my house for a few rigs and I have a decent amount of tools, but if anyone else has more space and would be interested in hosting it, that would be great.

Maybe we could start early in the day, BBQ some burgers or something for lunch.

Even if you don't have any mods that you need to do to your rig, but you want to hang out and help, that would be great. If anyone is interested, please post dates that work best for you, any ideas that you have on where we could do it or if you would like to host it and anything else.

Date: Sunday September 1st

Thanks

Thanks for posting Baker, I know most of us always have those projects that we'd like to get done before the next events. I'll gladly help others but if there is time I'll add one of mine on the to do list if we get time to get to it.

I have a large parking area, grassy areas with trees and work tables in the shop. Very limited mechanic tools but large air compressor. Larry can judge if it would be a good spot.

At your shop Jude? I think that would work just fine too :) thanks for offering

Where are you located?

Any suggested dates so far?
I can help during weekdays as well for those of us on offshore and shift work schedules.:deadhorse:

Ok guys. Mod day will be on Saturday, August 17th at 110 Henderson Rd. in Lafayette. Jude offered his shop area for use to use. Thank you sir.

I will be getting there around 9:30am that day. I will bring tools and a drill. If anyone else wants to bring some tools, that would be greatly appreciated.

Originally I was thinking we could BBQ, but I think ordering pizza might be easier. I'm open for suggestions on lunch.

Cool deal you can't go wrong with either option BBQ or pizza and the pizza takes no additional work :) If you go straight across hwy 90 at the light to the service road like your going to gator cove you take the first right and Jude's shop will be on your left as shown in the image :) I have to check with the chief I think that's the weekend we're scheduled to be in NO but if I'm here I'm in and will bring tools to help as well :)

Oops, I'm going to be out of town that day/weekend. I took myself off the list and will just have to wait for another day to get to check out some of the installs.

That sucks, but it gives us a reason to plan another one
