I’m going to drive my truck on rocks from March 25 to April 3rd. Currently it’s just me but consider this your invitation. My current plan is to tow my truck there with my other truck, stay in my tent in a campground, drive my truck on rocks for a week and then drive home. I’m likely staying at the “Moab rim campark” (waiting for some email replies) and if someone else is coming too and doesn’t mind some snoring we can go splitsies on one of their not so fancy looking cabins.

You’ll need to be double vaccinated to get into the states and there’s a few extra hoops to jump through to get back into Canada smoothly (like an $80 COVID test 3 days before coming home) but it can be done.

Don't forget the ARRIVECAN app - mandatory for re-entry into Canada even by car. PCR / PCR NAAP test.

Here is the govt of Canada site. The US is pretty free as far as restrictions etc. Just don't talk about anything to do with covid,
do not engage in being 'mask police' or distancing measures. If someone is too close, move away. Most to all are very concerned and
understand, it's the few who don't that you don't want to engage with anyways.
Check this just before you come home. I type 'covid testing - Austin ( where I am today )- and sources pop up. Find a place, make an appointment
If making online appointments with CVS or Walgreens Pharmacy example or any of them use a local address and ZIP. Do Not use Canadian address, you will be rejected online. they don't care where you live, find nearest hotel and use that address and zip.
