We're heading to Moab in march but none of us have been there before and we're looking for some camping suggestions. We will be tent camping and hoping for something a bit on the remote side of things. We dont mind hauling in our own water and supplies either. We will be wheeling for 3-4 days and hoping to find a camping area(campsite or not) that is off the beaten path but near enough to some great trails/wheeling areas.
Thanks in advance,
Paul

When in March are you going? I am planning a trip up there during that time as well.. It will be a long way from Miami, FL.. I plan on being out there for atleast 10 days hopefully!! I have a buddy in SLC, UT who is going to give me a route to take, I dont have a date as of yet but if it coincides your welcome to hang out. We plan on doing mostly primitive camping and off the grid type stuff.

We're hoping to go the week of the 16th. Not sure where we'll be staying but the BLM folks said that week shouldn't be too crowded.

Lots of options, blm camp grounds along the river, out on Kane springs, up sand flats road , hwy 313 and out in the desert. If there is no toilet you must bring one, you don't want the blm cops finding you out of compliance they have no sense of humor at all don't ask me how I know.

Thanks Jason. Duly noted...we have plans to bring a toilet.
