Wow.. I have to hit this place one day :)

An autopsy of the rear axle revealed that a Warn internally splined lockout exploded.

Front end status pending . . .

After seven years of abuse the driver's side 35-spline inner twisted off at the carrier:

First-

Whoever was the driving force behind getting that 1% opened up at Gilbert, I owe at least a case of beer. That trail is fxxxing awsome, period. THANK YOU!!!

I will be back and get my junk through that...Hell, I ran UA, and a bunch of other stuff up there before going to 1%...I had a great time, even being broke. I owe John, Stephen and Tim dinner for the hours of winch monkey they all played getting my broken s*** off that ridge..

After talking with a couple people that were with when C broke the inner on Brian's front, I found out that I was in the same spot when the rear lockout let go...only thing was I was on top of those rocks, and not wedged in anything...when the lockout broke, it also damaged the splines on the axle..so I need at least one new rear axle....and some poly drive plates I guess... ;) maybe Dave can get them in the same box as the 12" sway aways... if Jack at CTM has any 300m around there, I may go that route...and Fing spares!!! I had spares made when I did the original full float 60 that was under the truck for six years, had spare 35 spline chromo axles, lockouts, drive plates, and had no issues with it at all. Guess I was beyond due really though...

Front axle is out on the stand... going to remove the ARB carrier to get the stub out.....funtime...wish I had a HI9 up front too...this would be A LOT easier.....maybe next year...

Funny thing is I purchased chromo inners/outers and CTM's for the front a month ago, and just have not had time to tear into the truck....

Hopefully I can get a set of rear shafts and have this thing ready to go for the Cheesehead invasion....someone from the north has to be there... ;)

Good Gawd thats some K-Karnage. Wish Zilla could have been in one of those pics.

I think Russert broke in the same spot...Inner Axle, Hub, birf and a rear spring pack.... Quite a gate keeper. I think I will stay in the 99% percentile.... That hill sucks ass.....nipple

I had to winch a bit at that spot. Hung front and rear, and bound up real bad.

Stupid rock
