I've started looking at the 200 for precisely that reason. I took my 2020 Tundra to Colorado last month and it was so nice over the passes, but I too love my 80. If only I could get the boss to let me keep both.
 
Here's the tie breaker, IMHO: safety. I'm in the market to sell my 80 and replace it with a 200 for the power, comfort, and for the safety. Although I have a long history as a very safe driver, much is out of our hands on the road. I believe the 200 would protect my famiily far better in a serious accident. The 80 is beast, and I love mine. After 13 years of ownership, I'm ready to modernize my rig. Just my two cents.
 
Given this is a 200 forum, I’m going to show how naive I am on the awesome 80 series: is an LS engine swap (vis a vis the 60 series) an option for this?

It’d definitely help with your power wants, etc. hth
