on the steering box how much play does it have (in .001") just left and right of center?

Don't know on the play I will have to check it is still on the vehicle.

Here are some pics of the bumper and steering box. the top chrome piece came off it needs new clips to reattach it.

The steering box seems not to have much play if at all really not sure how to measure but when the shaft is turned the pitman arm moves at the same time.
