Hey Guys,

My buddy and I are thinking of running Miller Jeep trail next Sunday. Anyone else down to run it with us, please let me know. We are planning to leave Burbank around 8:30 AM. You can either meet us there or in Burbank.

It will be our first time on this trail, any advice?

If you're stock and still have running boards on, they'll make great warning signs that you're scraping a rock. Just ask me how I know that...or maybe PKP80 can relate the story! He did ask me if I wanted to remove them prior to hitting the trail. Sam's a wise man!!!

When you get home you can remove the bent running boards and let your significant other/spouse know you need sliders! :D At least that was my excuse!

Sliders were one of my first requirments before I took the car out on any trails. Thank good, or lese I would have been visiting the body shop after trying to tackle the rocks at Gorman OHV.

I used to have a green 94 80 which I sold 3 years ago, and I had bend the crap out of those stock running boards. They help up pretty well though.

If I hadn't already burned one tank of gas driving to and from Lancaster to see my sister and nieces for the first time in 13 years (out for a western regional soccer tournament) and gone this weekend with scouts, I'd go. Nuf gas burned this month already.

I hear you. Prices were awesome last year, but its begining to hurt nowadys.

I hate futures traders.

$3.00 locally for regular again. At least I took the Miata out to Lancaster with just the two of us. This weekend it'll be the cruiser out to and beyond Azuza. Gorman would be a tank plus and I just passed on a smoking deal for a 6th rim because of this and that damn clunk.

Man I'd go... But like everyone else I'm saving pennies for gas to go camping in Bridgeport next month and burn gas exploring Bodie and the rest of the Eastern Sierras. I went last month and it cost me roughly $400 in gas for a 3 day weekend. But we fished practically every creek from The Lower Owens in Bishop - East Walker River and back again...

Millers a great trail! I'm glad to hear you have sliders. I wouldn't run Miller in a wagon without sliders! I did it once and beat up the rockers on an otherwise pristine FJ62. Have fun!

Ya, I remember that area. Its a very relaxing spot to kick it at. We used that as our stagging area last time.

You may want to call ahead to the ranger station to make sure the trail is open. When we called mid May they said it may be closed till mid-August.

Suck to burn $3 gas just to get turned away.
