I’ve used the Novus branded kit before to ok, but not great, results. My son was in a minor accident in the Passat TDI, and I decided to buff out the doors that were scratched instead of paying the $1,000 deductible and letting an auto body fix it. This meant getting the dual-action polisher and the supplies anyway so I decided to try it out on the clear headlights and get a feel how to handle the tool.

Here are the supplies I used (Maguiars 110,/210/Novus plastic shine) and the results speak for themselves. the headlights are definitely not as clear as new, like the corner lamps that I bought on eBay, but I don’t think that they’re a MUST replace at this point.

Looks way better! Don't let your 40 minutes go to waste. If you don't spray with clear coat or apply paint protection film for UV protection, it'll revert back to cloudiness in 6 months or so.

I hit mine with Novus plastic polish by hand every 2-3 months, takes 5 minutes tops and keeps them looking like glass.
