40 x 16 / 17 Super Swamper LTBs

I have a set of (4) 40" LTBs for a 17" rim for sale. These tires are currently not being produced and are very difficult to find used and even harder to find new.

If I were to guess, I'd put them at 65-70% tread. Centers have been grooved in half by previous owner. Even wear, and rock rash is not bad.

Pics after I get home this weekend. I have a tread depth gauge and will use that as well.

Location: Hot Springs, AR
Price: $895 OBO

Anybody got any 17" beadlocks for cheap so I can buy the ^^above^^ tires?

Haha, jk. I know that's an oximoron "cheap 17" beadlocks".

Bump for ya Jordan. Ya know, if it comes to it, you could probably put these on Pirate and have them sold before anyone even had a chance to flame ya for something. hehe

They're listed on Pirate and around a dozen different areas on the internet. Lots of response, but no money yet. Probably people will jump on or off the boat after pics. Can't figure out yet which way they'll jump, but they'll jump :)

Winch deal

Warrior Winches | C8000 EWX

I'm about to buy at least one Warrior winch and possibly three; The distributor is local here in Memphis and gave me a pretty good deal if I buy multiple winches out of his current stock so I thought I'd check to see if anybody else wants in. Looks like a good winch from what I can tell and the accessory kit is nice too: wireless remote included. Prices just went up so once current stock is out, prices will not be this good. Only pricing I have currently is for the 8000 in this link - regular price $496, sale price $399, bulk purchase price $365. They have the 10k & 12k's too, I just didn't check the pricing so let me know if anyone is interested in one of those. Most likely this pricing won't be good after the new year unless I/we commit to something before then.

Get an xr8 with rope and pay 10% for lifetime warranty and still be cheaper.

Good lookin out, thanks for the idea. I guess that may end up being more what most people want but it won't work for my application. I have to have the steel cable, plus if you want to add wireless to the Smittybuilt, if you can, I'm sure it would be at least another $100 anyway. Also, the XRC8 only has a 178:1 reduction compared to 230:1 on the Warrior; I'd rather have the lower speed and higher torque (again though, I'm not using it offroad - building a car lift).

Steve....I am about to figure out you try to make things a lot harder than needed but don't kill yourself making a car lift with a winch...

You want to spend 4x amount on a chop shop and spend less on something you are going to walk under and work under?

You can find used car lifts all the time or pick one up a new one cheap.

Well I just didn't want to go into too much boring detail on the last post as it was already somewhat long, but here's an explanation: Basically nobody makes a lift that'll do what I need; if somebody does, it surely would cost $20-30k+. I've engineered a lift for the back of the semi trailer and the winches are just a lot easier and cheaper than hydraulics would've been. My lift is somewhat modular in nature to perform multiple functions, has to be able to tilt to about 30° to get the VW on the upper deck, and has to be VERY tight to the walls of the trailer. Very special needs means very special designs.

Party on Garth.....

Steve, I'm going to call you about the Warrior winch. I believe I have a hook-up for ya... and for anyone else for that matter, too.

Can anyone help me figure out what to ask for this somewhat rare but only fair condition tailgate?
