Geesh,
I was excited about getting one of these mic holders. I bought the extended version so I could put it next to the rear heater fan switch. But I guess it will not work with my 93 dash. OOPS...I guess I wasted my money. That is one of my problems trying to build this thing from halfway around the world. I have to guess on alot of things.
I have a cobra 75 too..

Nakman.......any pics of where you put the cb connector thing??? Does it come out the transmission hump???

I know of at least one 94 here locally who is using one of these, and it's working well for him. I've also sent a second one to my Southern California test lab for additional field testing, am awaiting his feedback after the weekend. So don't rule this out yet, and if we come up with something better you're good for an exchange, ok?

What do you mean CB connector thing? You mean the box the mic/handset and antenna attaches to? That's behind the dash, kind of between the steering column and center.

I forgot I bought the Cobra AC701 remote connector box with mine. That is what I meant by connector thing. Did you do the same? I thought it would be nice to store it when not in use.

Yeah that's the thing that's mounted underneath the dash... but you could also stash it under the center console if you want, or even inside the center console between the middle hole and the outside walls, that's where I have an RCA box for my iPod connector. I think there's room in both places.

I have tons of add-ons.(I might have went overboard) I am sure to have questions for all when I get my hands on my cruiser. Starting to miss it. I have only seen it for 2 weeks last September. I rely on all you mud members for helping me choose the right mods. Im counting the days now.

You'll have to make a trip up to Minot AFB. We have a decent auto hobby shop. Having a lift and various tools on hand helps. Also, chances are that I have already done whatever mod you are working on.

well 80 folk, here's an old thread... one of several I could bump, so picking this one. If you're new here well I invented these little innovations back in 2009, sold them for a while, developed other products... the rest is history, one we're still writing. Anyway after about a 15-year break, I decided to bring back this product line for a limited time.

So I have the dashboard inserts in stock, both horizontal and vertical mic holders, I even have a few of the lights on hand- not going to sell the lights, but you could PM me for one and I'll add one to your order for free, while supplies last.

I have a couple other ideas for these little guys as well, will be releasing those in the coming months here. As always, am open to questions as well as suggestions for other products.
