Metal Tech tube door install for FJcruiser!

Looks great, can it latch on the factory striker? and quick release hinges? I think it was 4 runner I saw that had them and he could swap them in seconds and not have to adjust anything

The factory striker must be removed SEE OP ...and the hinges have to be unbolted...30 minutes or less once you have it down. NO adjustment needed..its the factory speaker hook up that probably takes the most time. ITs not bad at all for such an extreme mod.

We don't have a quick release hinge for the FJC. The problem with the FJC is the door hinge is what sets the door alignment. So it would be a royal pain in the butt to align the door back up if the original hinges were removed.

We use a different striker system and is super easy to swap over.

Thanks they look great, but no tools swap would be the ultimate... Keep me from losing all the parts in the barn during the winter.

Ann are you serious I have no idea why there would be an extra step for AT's LOL!

Jake, the AT's have to remove the Dead Pedal in order to get to the kick panel to remove it. MT's dont have this dead pedal.
