If the man who held up a McDonald’s near Memphis International Airport July 4 hadn’t been wearing a mask, employees might have said he had a familiar face.
According to a police affidavit, the robber wore a pair of McDonald’s work pants with a bleach stain and hole in the left leg, just like former employee Quentin Brown Jr.
He had on the same style of older Jordan tennis shoes that Brown wore.
He wore the same kind of jacket that Brown wore when he went into the restaurant’s freezer.
He walked like Brown, he talked like Brown, and he even joked around and called an assistant manager by a nickname.
Today, Brown was in the Shelby County Jail, charged with aggravated robbery in connection with the stickup.
According to police, a man wearing a black ski mask with red trim robbed the restaurant at 3377 Winchester at gunpoint at 8:40 p.m. July 4.
He escaped in a green Chevrolet Malibu with another person at the wheel. There was no information available about whether the second suspect had been detained.
Brown, 21 is being held in the Shelby County Jail on $100,000 bond.
