Any of you guys staying in town this weekend up for a river run?

I'm available any time except Sunday morning.

It doesn't even have to be the Pearl. I'm ready to wheel just about anywhere.

Whos in??

Sounds like a blast, but I don't know if I'm in. LMK when it is, I'm there.

I have commitments most of Saturday, Sunday and I'm going out of town Monday mid day. But if I can do it I will!

Greg,

Give us a time that works for you and we will schedule it for then.

We need you or Barry since you guys know where you are going.

Who else wants to join in??

Lash if yall go Monday afternoon let me know.

Thanks,

Chris

So how about Monday early afternoon??

Looks like Gregs out.

Barry, will you lead us to the Mighty Pearl?

Whos in?

Hey, just got back from fishing on Grand Isle.

I don't know if I can take my truck but if I can ride along with someone I'd be glad to make some route suggestions. Lash, give me a ring tomorrow. We could go out around 3pm...perhaps meet up here in Belhaven?

Chris, remember we leave Thursday. Don't tear anything up!

Later,

OK. Here is the schedule for the First Annual Unofficial CLC Memorial Day River Run:

Meet at Barry's house at 1:20
Head out to the Pearl around 1:30
Head home a coupla' hours later so you can grill burgers for dinner.

Chris, you in?

Don't worry Jeff, he may get it a little dirty, but we'll try not to tear anything up.

Heath, I got a seat if you want it. I'll pick you up.

Matt - I will PM you with my cell. Bring the Jeep.

Anyone else??

Somebody call John.

Well, it was just Lash, Heath, me-n-the-boys. The mud was deep, unpredictable. The winches were acting up and we spent as much time with tow straps as we did driving. All in all I'd say it was a blast.

New experience: I reversed a shackle. Lash showed us how to undo it. Many thanks.

Some places that look solid can be bottomless pits of goo.

Windows a good option if the door's not opening cause of the angle.

That Pearl River clay-mud cost me $8 in quarters at the car wash! Sure wish I could have sprayed the interior too.

Good Times!
