Memorial Weekend in Grand Junction

If the cruiser is in running condition after the Penrose trip on April 21st. Mike and I are planning on heading to Grand Junction for Memorial Weekend. We will be running 21 Road and maybe Billings and Bangs Canyons.

Its still too early to put definite plans together but I would be looking at leaving on Friday May 25th morning or maybe Thursday May 24th night.

Post up if you would like to join us on this trip.

I think Saturday May 26th would be the day we would run 21 Road.

Looks like its still going to work out for Grand Junction on Memorial Weekend. I just made reservations at RV Ranch in GJ for three nights starting Friday May 25th. The plan will be to run 21 Road on Saturday May 26th and Billings on Sunday May 27th the return home on Monday.

Ok setting up meeting time and place for 21 rd on Saturday May 26th. We will meet at the trailhead at 8:30am.

Well crap, I'm out! My tennant just called and the main line to my sprinkler is broken. Looking at it I estimate it will take a good part of the day to fix. You guys have fun and let me know if you need anything (full shop at my place to fix your broken junk ).

I may stop by the RV park on Sat night to see how things went! Travel safe.

Ok, it was windy yesterday and it is supposed to be windy today.. Maybe it won't be as windy in 21 road.

We made it out of 21 road.

I some how blow out the seal on my power steering pump. We were able to take it apart and put it back together and get it working. Mike busted a rear axel shaft. We found a guy in GJ who had some and he drove us around to get stuff we needed.

We made it through Billings. We hooked up with three other rigs. I broke a tail light and a front leaf spring. We wrapped a strap around the spring and kept on going.

I was just talking about running carnage. I'm trying to paint the scout this weekend then I need to fix the leaf spring on the cruiser. Maybe June 16th would be a good time to run carange.
