I know there alot of new rigs and quite a few members since this thread was last visited. Anybody else wonder what your buddies have built as of recent? PMC whatca look like lately?

This is my 83 Toyota Hilux.
Yodaman built with a clean 22R, and rebuilt L52, stocker Tcase. 30" M/T's I'm going to replace with 30" BFG A/T's when I can afford it.
Front tired stock springs and rears beefed up with 5/8" add-a-leaves that makes me arse skip around over potholes or railroad tracks.
APC racing buckets mated to factory mounts (more or less), JVC head unit, Sony 4" speakers and Oldsmobile 6" speakers that came from a conveniently close-at-hand source:lol: and fit just right between the seats and rear wall.

future plans:
- New Paint
- Mild lift
- Homebrew bumpers
- Earlier headlight assemblies with Roundeyes
- LED's all around

Someday:
- Swap out the 22R/L52 for a 1KZ-TE/R151.
- Marlin adapters to keep the stock T-case instead of the chain-drive.

I call her: "The Mule" 'cause she'll never win a beauty pageant, or a race, but she does what she needs to, and gets me where I need to be.

I like how your '72's still sporting the stock fenders, and you haven't gone to tube fenders. You just can't beat stock body lines.

The Carcass that became a Beauty

Hi, guys! Here's some pics from my 1983 HJ60 (4L, 6 in line diesel, H55F, OME heavy duty 4" lift kit with shackle reversal kit, OME nitro shocks, home made kinda ARB bull bar with small Warn winch). It was ready three months ago, 3 o'clock in the morning, a half hour before we left Suriname for a trip through Guyana, Brazil, and Venezuela. Hope you like it,

Wim

1H or 2H?
Man I'd love to see that motor in person!

Andy, is that going to KOH? Guess you won't be doing Pillsbury. We all want pics of this in action. And I have a little blue cruiser that could use some of that tube work. Was that done at your shop?

Hi Don
Work was done from a guy I know in his garage. I can give you his number if you want. I had trouble sending pictures on mud message center. I can e-mail those pictures. send your e-mail in a message.

Interesting tubes, very different. That tubing looks like 1 1/2, did you go DOM on that?

I believe he said he used 1 1/2 .120 Dom for most like slider and main tubes and some .188 chromoly tubing for lightness. I will be going to the Hammers on wednesday night.
