So what came out of the meeting? It has been three days and no one has shared any info with those of us that couldn't make it.

Chris,
Where should I send a check for this years dues? Shoot me a PM if an address is available. Thanks.

At the meeting, we gave our checks to Chris, but he is stepping down as treasurer. Peggy(Two Old Crows) is taking over. You could PM her and see where she wants you to send the $.
Meeting went well, we had about 50 +/- in attendance. Everyone seemed to like the meeting place and expressed a willingness to meet here in Hooterville again next year.
Rob, Peggy's son(KC_Chevota) is taking over chair of Flat Nasty and there was some discussion about having it every other year and on alternate years, throwing in with Tall Corn.
We had a raffle with free tickets and I won this......but that's about all, nothing big happened.

Well......I didn't tell anyone else about the raffle, if that's what you mean;) Sorry to say, the pics are all I get to keep:frown: That thing is HUGE!

Kris (and all who couldn't make it) it looks like Ed hit all the highlights...

Rob is now VP
Peggy is treasurer
Andrew Booth took over membership
Marc is going to try and get merchandise up and running.

We have some coordination issues to deal with now that treasurer and membership are no longer the same person...once we have a game plan we will post a sticky with instructions for new members and renewals.

Flat nasty: TAC and Tall corn are going to join forces. The plan is to alternate events starting with FN08. Mike C made a motion for the event chairperson duties to be held by the TAC VP...The vote was about 49 yeas and 1 nay. Actual event planning won't start until after the tall corn meeting Feb 10. We threw around ideas but that's it. The date is listed in Chris' event thread.

We planned out year for other TAC meeting and events, all are listed in Chris' thread...I think we will have a wrench weekend or two to add but that's about it.

The room was very nice. There was plenty of space so we weren't packed in. We had wheeling slideshows courtesy of Ed and Casey. And we dined on awesome pulled pork and brisket (thanks again ed), plus the potluck was great.
