Guys, I wanted to stop by and invite you to the 1st Annual Mardi Krawl hosted by the La Land Krewesers. This place is in your backyard I do believe. Here are the details......

The LLK 1st Annual Mardi Krawl event is going
to happen April 4 - 7 at Hawk Pride Mountain ORV. ​

If you haven't seen the thread in the LLK clubhouse, 4 LLK members (Kevin, Erick, Matt and Cody) went to Hawk Pride the last weekend of Dec and despite the inclement weather had a good time and nothing but good things to say about the park and the owner. I spoke with Mark, the owner, and he is very excited about the possibilities of us holding an annual event at his park. He said he is in the process of making improvements and is adding new trails. Deryl (speedn3), Jonas (Grouper) and Jason (HODGES) are our event committee and they are hard at work. Any ideas can be funneled through them. The raffle is coming together with big named vendors stepping up with big prizes. Both Fri night and Sat night will be catered with some delicious BBQ.


As we get more details, we will keep you posted. For now, mark it on your calendars and start begging for time off!! We would love to see some local Toyota brothers and sisters out there. :clap::bounce2::clap:

I saw this ride posted a few weeks ago and I really would like to come. Looks like lots of fun. Y'all going to have some Abita kegs there? I know the Ga Cruisers enjoyed them at SCC '12.
 
We might just have to see about that. Glad we could oblige at SCC and hope to make that a regular thing with those crazy CottonLand boys and girls. And it will be a lot of fun. You should come join us.

And a little off topic, but didn't I meet you at the Home Depot in Gulfport a while back? :hhmm:
 
It would be great to see you out there Sam but I certainly understand. I will post up the dates for next year as soon as we have them and you can mark us on the calendar early. :D But there's always room for one more if you get some time freed up at the last minute. ;)

Definitely. If anything I could drive the 4Runner over and just do some light wheeling. We'll see when it gets a little closer.

Is anybody planning on going to this event??? I will be there as long as my truck is ready...
 
There's a small chance I'll make it. That's pretty soon after LSLC Round Up so money will be tight (or non-existent) and hopefully the rig will still be wheelable. But I do want to see that park and it's only about 4 hours for me, so I'll try.

We are only 6 weeks or so from Mardi Krawl. Early registration will close in just over 3 weeks on March 13. You can still register when you get there but the registration fee goes from $50 to $65 and we can't guarantee we'll have a t-shirt in your size. So, get registered soon. We have about half the number of rigs already registered that we expect so there is room for plenty more. :clap:
