I'll be there. Bill, perhaps we should invite Steve Dillan from the 4wdabc to the meeting after our discussion last time. Drew should also have some info on ham courses coming up? Right Drew??? I'll have a brief report on IVOAC about recent developments.

OK, Steve Dillan will be there for the meeting. And if you say a few words about IVOAC that's great. Drew, are you there? :)

I have the BORNEO 2006 DVD if anyone want to watch it. Just the normal s***, coil sprung 42, 44s and 14BTs and 15Bs and all that other stuff , OH YA for JOHN (CANUCKSAFARI) I believe there is a NISSAN PATROL with a 14BT what?????

That be the TD4.2. Unlike certain engine builders, Nissan knew they got that one right and put it in everything from their 4x4s, forklfts, commerical trucks, and marine applications. It is only when they decided joing the modern diesel age that they came out with the ZD3.0 self destructing diesel foundly refered to as the "grenade" by the Aussies.

Rhino's pub in Burquitlam (yes it is an actual name) has good food. Then again it is a pub and most pubs have the same stuff. I know that the Flying Fish in Port Moody is good - a bit price in comparison to a pub. St. Street grill on St. Johns is not worth going into, every time I was there the food sucked. St. James Well in New Port village (Port Moody) is decent - typical Irish pub fare, there are a bunch more places closer to Coquitlam Center, Milestones (a bit more $), Montanas (good food - fair price), Boston Pizza (pretty much like ever other chain restaurant - decent price). There are a couple of little restaurants in Port Moody I have not tried and there is a little Mexican place called Charlie's Place that I remember was decent (but that was a while ago so I don't know now).

Thanks Mat, we'll come up with something.

Also, now that the wheeling season is about to get underway, members are encouraged to follow Tread Lightly principles when out in the bush, and respect their 10 trail guidelines. More info can be found at google by searching for Tread Lightly.

The March/April Toyota Trails article on page 4 lists them in more detail.

That is interesting stuff, Bill. I note that the Toyota Trails Calendar chose some pictures that do not honour these principles this year. Why the disconnect, I wonder?
