What great turn out for yesterday's run, thanks everyone. Had a great time with Bill as my copilot, great conversation and my voice was even a little hoarse at the end of our day! (Thanks to Willie for the treats we had at lunch, and a delicious bowl of soup at their place at the end of the day!).

Good turnout! Good pics and vids on FB. Sad to say I am in Whitecourt, so I'm missing out! 
Looks like you guys beat me out for pictures to quick, but here is what I got...
We arrived at the staging area with about 12 trucks assembling.

We headed up West Harrison Rd and turned into the Weaver Creek Rd and
back out through Francis Lake Rd and Wood Lake area back to the main road.
Not much traffic on the trails, maybe people expected heavy rainfall.
Took the hard trail down to Hale Shelter and that trail is in rough shape. Had
the shelter all to ourselves and enjoyed a good fire and wienie roast. Thanks
Franz, Kristen, and others for food and beverages. Roy and Jill, as well as
Petra went for a dip in Harrison Lake. Very little rain, mostly "Scottish Mist".
Later in the day we headed up the Sunrise Lake trail however it was too rough
for vehicles with no sliders so only a few went farther. Franz has a new dent in
his LF rocker area. We finally headed down and out at dusk. All in all, a very good
start to the wheeling season and we didn't even need the foul weather gear!
