most likely a stupid question, in the process of converting my 86 t4r to power steering. I have most of the hardware there, but waiting on a few things..question is can, I install my IFS power steering box(while i have time waiting) and keep it manual for a few days? Ie nothing connected to it, but plugs.

It will work but the steering will be really heavy.... Also I don't know if that will do any harm to the insides of the box while cycling it back and forth... I think it will want to puke any fluid that's in it out.... 
steerings going to SUCK!!!
make sure theres fluid in there and loop the lines
wont hurt anything...other than your arms.
