manual hub conversion

Good day!

Will a manual locking hubs from a LN166 pick up fit my LN130 4runner?

Has anyone tried it? because I am planning to a conversion

What years and what type of suspension are they? If they are both independent front suspensions, or both solid front axles, then I'd say probably, but if they are different, then probably not.

Yeah, we here are lazy sorts (U.S. based) so the LN codes are beyond most.

LN130='91-'95 Hilux, HiluxSurf/4Runner. Hub=43508B

LN166*Diesel(IIRC)=1996+ (Tacoma/SharkFIn Style). Hub also appears to be a 43508B.

One of our Aussie mates or one of the diesel conversion guys will have to field this one, it's even beyond me this time since I don't have the rig in front of me.

Try it out, what's the loss? Hold the pieces up side by side and compare.
For stumping even me.

BIG THANKS guys.. I'm from the Philippines and its rare to get used hubs here because it doesn't break often..I have to order it on Ebay or somewhere else.

By the way, this is the rig I'll be fitting the hubs on..

Nice Surf! 2 door 2nd Gen's (90-95) are pretty rare here!
