I'd really like to pull the trigger and get one of these tents one day soon, but why are there some different model selections between the US and Canada sites?
For the price differences, especially with the loonie so high now, it would be worth the drive perhaps to cross the border and get one, but the US site doesn't list for example the Adventure.
The US site doesn't seem to show the optional changing room either.

I think I'd want a large one (wife and 2 kids) for the top of the 80.

Mike, from the US Autohome distributor, may chime in at any moment, but I think the national dealers carry different items, but it's all available via custom order from Italy, if you want it and can afford the time in transit.

I know I ended up buying a tent not nominal available in the US, because I had seen it on the Canadian site. It was in a slow boat coming across, but I was in no hurry, just knew what I wanted.

Cheers,

Enigma, how old are your kids? I prefer the Maggiolina over the rest of the RTT's but I have doubts I'd be happy with 2+2 in a large. My small Maggiolina is 51" wide and is okay for two moderate sized persons. The Large is only 12" wider. I can't see two kids sharing 12" more. Plus, they will grow very fast.

I'd consider a clamshell type RTT or something else.

This is why I stopped selling and renting out the Large Grand Tours.

I sold the one I had to someone with a 350. The clamshell models will give you the room you are looking for. You will not have the advantages of the setup/takedown ease, hard shell, etc. But I opens up a plethora of choices (and price points): Autohome, ARB, Howling Moon, EeziAwn, Mombazza, CampingLab, etc!
