It looks basically like Henry's in the above pic.

The hinge is and tailgate are being worked on as we speak. Custom fenders have been made and mounted. I will have some updated pics in a few days when I get it all together.

I welded two pieces, 1 1/4" by 1 1/4" angles and 3/8" plate into this chunk o steel to fill in the gap. Not only it helps cut down the "vertical" movement on the washboard road "ripple-effect", it also greatly reduce the "hoziontal" movement.

Snook's solution is a very good one. The noise is only evident when running and rough roads / trails.

If you add a piece of angle as shown below you will eliminate the interference problem.
