Anyone have a write up on replacing headlight assemblies lx570 2010. What kind of aiming procedures are needed after install?

It's pretty self explanatory once you look at it. Remove grille, mostly remove bumper (it will hang by the headlight washer hoses, unbolt headlight, reverse steps.

Aiming: park 25-30 feet perpendicular from wall on flat ground. Measure height to center of projector lens off the ground. Measure top of light cutoff on the wall. You should have a 2" drop in height, adjust accordingly.

Bit the bullet and bought new oem headlights. Now to put them in. Anyone have a recommendation for a wax type product to apply to them for protection? A co worker suggested graphene?

PPF is the only thing that offers impact potection. Any lens treatment or ceramic coat is a bandaid to UV degradation if you keep up with it regularly. PPF protects from impacts, scratches, and UV. Quality films are good for 8-10 years.

Ceramic will just keep them clean longer and make it easier to clean - same as for the car paint. All good stuff.

I just refreshed the headlight assemblies on my LC - definitely a job. You just swap the bulbs from the old to the new more or less.

I hade mine refinished this AM. Like new, for another year or so!
