LX470 rear light question

Hey guys...

Wondering if anyone here can shed some light on light problem.

I have two additional rear LED lights as shown that did come on with the reverse lights but now are just on all the time when the ignition is turned on. They go off when the ignition is turned off. From what I can tell underneath the vehicle they do not tie into the wiring harness for the towing and instead enter body (see picture). From where it enters it looks like this is a factory place that this is intended wiring and I'm trying to figure out where it goes and how to solve the problem of the lights being always on.

I have no idea if this was a factory Lexus option and it looks like a pretty good install maybe intended for reversing when towing.

Other information - let the girlfriend borrow the LX and it came back like this. Did she press something make this always on?

Send some pics of your fuse boxes. Anything aftermarket in them? There could have also tapped into existing wires. I don’t think this is OEM.

not OEM
is there a non OEM switch that got switched? somewhere on the dash or console? under the steering wheel?

if not, I'd try flipping any switch you see and figure out which operates them
