So in my eagerness to get going on my seat re-cover I failed to take a pic of the wiring layout under the seat - I'm actually an electrical guy and got cocky.
Now it's doing my head in because I can't figure out the configuration (unless I have some other cables trapped/hidden I can't see without taking apart again

Here's where I am:
Driver-Seat-wiring.jpg

4 is where the seat back heater connects into - the '5' end is where it gets power; the other end branching off the 'tee' from 4, goes to the seat base heater.
That part I believe is all good.

The problem area are connectors 1, 2 & 3
The harness 2 to 3 is what runs inside the back of the seat base - pretty sure that is correct and makes sense the grey connects to the grey at '2'
That leaves 1 and 3 ....
Both are 2 pins but different sizes - I'm stumped, can't find where they go (unless as I say, perhaps their mates are hidden under the seat frame.)
EDIT - I found '3' - that goes to the seat back
So now only '1' needs to be identified .
EDIT 2 - found '1' now also - goes to the seat belt.
I got blinkered trying to find something directly where I was working - finally looked around my workspace and saw the seat back and the seat belt
DOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Does anyone have an image please (or description), of where this last connector should go?

SOLVED - thanks for listening! :D

looking at that seat bottom picture, can you point out the airbag wires/connectors?

reason: I have intermittent srs (seat restraining system) dash light appearing. according to my research, this might be a loose connection. I've been too nervouse to totally remove the seat.

Sorry, mine is a '99 and has no seat airbag - hopefully someone else will read, but you may be better to post a specific thread with your question.
However note that SRS is SUPPLEMENTAL Restraint System, not specific to 'Seat'

That srs issue has been/is/will bug the hell out of me.
There are a few you-tube videos on that - I think first step is to get a code scan and see which specific component of the SRS is triggering the alarm.
If you don't have your own reader, places like AutoZone will actually do a free scan for you.

scan readers are usually my got too.....but, after diging deep, most shade tree mechanic's readers won't read landcruiser srs (and other) codes. Also, I remember reading (don't know where) that toyota srs codes are not availalble to the inexpensive code reader market (proprietary).

code readers that can actually read toyota lc srs codes seem to be fairly expensive. considering that and my ability to screw things up, better for me to take to a professional.

If you know otherwise, please enlighten me.

Reviving this thread in hopes you could assist. Your wire #3 that you said goes to the seat back, where exactly did you plug this into? I have a 2000 LC100 that I am having trouble locating this last wires home. Thanks.

Coming back to clarify where that plugs into as I found it today. It is in the seat back motor on the bottom.
