Ugh - Not liking the new direction of the new LX. I've been optimistic, but this seems like a real departure. Not because of the tiny V6 hybrid, but because there are merging the tundra platform. Let's hope this is just the LX and the LC lives on as a warrior. But then, toyota could prove me wrong and it's yet another great platform with a modern drive-train.

It's getting uglier. See how low the front grille is. It becomes the car that you can have 5 girls in.
 
Who knows if this is fact or fiction. I think it would be good for the Lexus side of the house. Increased performance and MPG is always a good thing. When Toyota comes out with an official press release then I will take notice. If something were to come out in 2020, that would be incredible. I find it hard to believe that we will get anything in 2020. I would assume they would have a formal press release soon, if that it the case.
