Hey guys...very recently joined the 200 club with a '17 LX 570. This is my wife's truck and will be a grocery getter/family truckster. She likes the wheels, but asked me if they could be painted or powdercoated a dark charcoal or black...it's a white truck.

I imagine they could, has anyone seen that or had it done? I used the search function, but didn't see any hits. They're the factory 21" 10-spoke wheels. Pic for attention

There's no question that powdercoating is vastly superior to painting.

If you can find a qualified powdercoater near your location, that's definitely the way to go.

I have had both painted and powdercoated rims on cars. I prefer powdercoated. I've only had them on sportscars, painted may be easier to touch up on an offroad vehicle?

And dude, you have the least cluttered garage I've seen in my life! Mine is a wreck.
Lol...you're the second person that's mentioned that. I have the clutter staged elsewhere

Get them sandblasted, a zinc based primer applied, and then powdercoated. Don't skip any of the steps.
